16 players turned out for the last league game and the final chance to win a title this year. This was also the last chance to attack the final eight in the Xmas Poker bash 2011.
The game started off slow, with one man standing out in the crowds for all the wrong reasons. Ian chew tried to steamroll his way through the field by attacking with any two cards, thus leaving every player at the table confused about his plans, but this saw him hit the rail very soon after the first break. Bondy lived by the well phrase “if you can’t be good, then be luck, and if your not lucky then be good”, and that was how it went as Bondy ploughed through a tough game to win his second title of the year and to top off his impressive league stance. He beat off Seamus Hassain, Simon Brown and Kyle English to the top cash spot.
